Yesterday we featured some of the market kingpins, we'll keep them up for the time being as they need to be paid attention to at the least.
See what's going on here?
Speaking of deal, these names below have the look of setting up for some sort of pop
IBM
AAPL
GOOG
AMZN
All of these names are index moving names that make up a big piece of the indexes. Ever see one of those days where the markets are up nicely but you can't see where? This explains that, those are days where they take the names with the biggest impact to the indexes and pop them. IBM is 13% of the Dow, GOOG is 8% of the NDX, AAPL is 13% of the NDX and so on. In other words these are the names Wall St. uses to prop the indexes all the while everything languishes below the surface. Even the biotechs get used for these purposes so keep an eye on REGN and BIIB as they also are big index names.
ALL of these names are setting up nice short term Pullbacks Off Highs (POH) patterns.
In the event of some news driven spin city deal these are the names that are probably going to lead with a you guessed it gap up don't blink opening should something occur in the form of a deal.
